Campground Tour: Montreal South KOA Journey, St. Phillipe de LaPrairie, QC

We stayed at our first Kampgrounds of America campground near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Montreal South KOA Journey is located in St. Phillipe de LaPrairie — about 30 minutes from downtown, It is the closest RV campground to Montreal that we could find. And it was a very nice campground, nicely landscaped, clean and tidy.

This is a full-service campground with full hookups, pool, playground, mini golf and other amenities — including a pickleball court!

At the time we made our reservation, the only sites available were sites with 20 amp electric and water. It wasn’t a problem for us. We were able to run our air conditioner and toaster without any issue.

Despite the number of sites here (and how close they are together), the campground was quiet.

This was our first experience with KOA campgrounds, and it was a very good one. If we happen to travel to Montreal again, we’ll definitely stay here again.
